ABOUT
The project was inspired by Saint-Exupéry’sliterary novel The Little Prince.It tells the story of a little prince who went off to other planets to start his journey because of quarreling with his beloved rose.He encountered several symbolic characters in the process.At last, he died because of missing his rose.
I chose the story of the little prince because the image of the little prince attracted me.He had been living on his own planet, where only lived him and his beloved rose.Therefore, there were not so many doctrines in his world, so he had an innocent heart.During his travels, he talked to different people, but he always seemed unable to understand the stifling rules of the adult world, the vanity, the possessiveness, the inexplicable sense of shame, the inferiority and so on.I think he symbolizes hope and love and the childlike soul buried in everyone’s ho~+
The little prince planted a rose on his planet.As a result of his quarrel with her,the little prince left his own planet and his rose and began to travel in the universe.
The little prince met the fox.Fox said:“Do you see the wheat fields over there?It’s sad that the wheat fields can’t make me think.But if you could tame me here,the golden fields would remind me of you.How wonderful that will be.”
The little prince met the lamplighter.“Good morning,Why did you put out the lamp?”“Good morning.Because it’s an order.”“Then why did you light it up again?”“It’s an order.”“I don’t understand."There’s nothing to understand.Orders are orders.”
The little prince met a drunkard.
“What are you doing?"
"I am drinking."
"Why are you drinking?"
"To forget."
"Forget what?"
"Forget my shame."
"What shame?"
"Shame of drinking!
If you fall in love with a flower of a planet, then every time you looking up at the sky at night, you will feel that stars are blooming like flowers.The little prince missed his rose.
The little prince met a snake.The snake told him that it knew the mystery of life.So it bit him and sent him back to heaven.Maybe he will meet his rose again.
